Leaving any kind of machinery, or equipment unattended whilst it is running or left turned on can be a major health and safety issue for any company.

There are a number of things that could happen as a result of leaving equipment turned on. Another individual who is not properly trained in using the equipment may decide to move it as it may be in the way, a lever could be knocked resulting in the forks to lift whilst someone is standing in the way resulting in injury, or anything similar.

We all know that to save time operators of equipment will often leave the equipment turned on to move something, or to quickly fetch forgotten paperwork as the intention was only meant good, but health and safety is key in any business.

LogIT-OFF is able to control the running time of unattended equipment and will shut it down to avoid these risks. If an operator gets out of the seat on a fork truck a simple switch is activated resultting in a timer counting down. If the operator does not return to the seat within the specified time the fork truck then will be shut down meaning it can not be accidentally moved or operated by an unauthorised person.
