RearView
RearView

When driving any vehicle we all suffer the same problem, blind spots. What is more if you are constantly moving forward and backwards, say for instance in order to park a car, you are having to continously look around. When driving a fork truck this is made especially hard as you may be carrying a heavy load which you need to keep your eyes on also.

So what if it was possible to have someone or something that would look after you when reversing? With RearView you are getting just that.  Many of us are familiar with the concept of parking sensors on a car, and whilst these offer good guidance, you still are left responsible as to whether you choose to carry on reversing or not.

We have developed our product on the same concept and taken it further still. Not only does it tell you if anything is behind you when reversing, it also tells you if it falls into 1 of 3 brackets. 0 - 1 meters away, 1 - 2 meters away or 2 - 3 meters away. To take this further we have also developed our product to be able to brake the fork truck before it is able to collide with any object, be this a pallet of bricks, a concrete bollard, a person walking behind the fork truck or a thin railing stuck up out of the ground.

Overview:

  • Improves site safety
  • Creates safer working environment
  • Alerts driver to obstacles during reversing
  • Provides accurate information of space behind vehicle
  • Reduces stoppages due to collisions

  • Protects workplace from damage
  • May reduce insurance premiums
